Review summary

First of all some people should not be allowed to review vacation experiences. Be it Cruises, All Inclusives or Hotels. The reviews about the Breakaway were not great leading up to our date. Let me say All Bull. Actually met some of these complainers on the Cruise and if you don’t listen and validate their rants they will dismiss you promptly, Thank You! We are 62 and 63 and have travelled a far amount, never had a bad trip yet. First we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Coral Gables excellent spot, clean, $12 to get to Port, good food, nice location. Arrived at Port about 9:30-10:00 dropped luggage off, went through security and went to the waiting room. Started boarding about 11 had no plans on trying to get Vibe but we were Group 1 so we went for it. Actually had our ticket but the price was $219 apiece so we backed out, didn’t think it was worth it. I will try to keep this short. Food was excellent, great quality and great presentation. O’Sheenans was our go to place for wings salads and sandwiches, fast and Great quality. We ate at Cagneys, le Bristo and the teppanyaki. Had our 40 th Wedding anniversary dinner at Taste. All were above our expectations and the Servers were so great. Ate at the buffet mostly breakfast and it was great with lots of choices. Had the drink package and found it to be a great value. The drinks were top notch, good selection of beers and wines and the Martini bar was a nice change. Never had to wait the Bar staff were on the ball, don’t know how they can do it and still be smiling and cheerful. We had a Spa Balcony and found it to be perfect for us, balcony size typical for the room type, bed excellent, room spotless thanks to Kevin and bathroom a little larger and nicer than other ships. We used the Spa Thermal rooms and found them to be excellent. Hot water massage tubs, steam rooms, heated stone loungers and views were great, spotless, not crowded a great option for relaxing. I know some people have bad experiences on vacation but please don’t tell us especially if the other 99% of your fellow travellers are content. Your negativity can cause other travelers to miss out on great experience.
