Review summary

Alaska was beautiful! We were lucky that it did not rain at all the whole cruise. It was warm and sunny the whole time. This is very rare. The crew is polite but under staffed. The ports all need a shuttle to access the shopping area. Kudos to NCL for havinng a handicap only elevator during port. I wished other cruise lines did this.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Seems like they are under staffed in the dinning rooms. We were lucky to get a refill on our drinks.

Onboard Activities

Wine tastings were fun and delicious.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We saw only one show as Jersey Boys was cancelled.

Service and Staff

I saw my room steward once the whole week. He did keep the room clean and well stocked.

Cabin / Stateroom

The telephone handset did not work and was not replaced after telling front desk and room steward. I shared this room with my son and having the bed split to two single beds made the room more accesible.

Ship tip

The ship docks far away from shopping area. In each port we had to take a shuttle bus. Observation deck on 15th floor was nice.

We did the whale and glacier tour which took up all the time in port. In fact we were a hour late getting back to the ship.
