Review summary

I would never recommend this cruise or cruiseline after this experience. You spend thousands of dollars to stand in line the majority of the time. Alaska is beautiful, but find a better cruise to experience it.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
The Port of Seattle does an ok job with getting people through. They could use more signage outside for luggage drop off

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Mediocre at best. The buffet was horrible. Savor was good, but not great.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Average cruise activities (games). Pool and racetrack are a waste of space.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Bands were ok except the country one. They only played Fleetwood Mac, it was boring after the 3rd time.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Staff seems to avoid you so they don't have to work. I have never experienced this on other cruises.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Womens bathrooms were not maintained at all. Many toilets would not flush. Since they were not attended to the bathrooms smelled of urine. Stews only clean room once a day. Service is simular to a mid priced hotel at best.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Regular balcony stateroom laid out like all other cruiselines.

Ship tip

Don't do it. Spend money elsewhere

Ports of call

Sitka, Alaska

1 out of 5
Horrible lines for shuttle to get to town and then back. Time in port was already limited.

Juneau, Alaska

1 out of 5
Time in port again was an issue. If you went on an excursion you had no time to do anything else

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

1 out of 5
This port is very underdeveloped. There is not much to do other than the gondolas and look around. However, the time in port is 6am to 12:45 so most things are not even open yet. Again, not a good experience

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

1 out of 5
Time in port was a joke. Horrible lines and disorganization for excursions.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Very good with port valet.
