Review summary

Ship and food were equal to or better than what we are used to. Embarkation and debarkation were the worst we have ever experienced.. We generally cruise Celebrity as a reference point.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Report time was around 9:30am, d waited in terminal 2 hours before boarding the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
MDRs were fine. We did not like the crowds in the buffets. The food in the buffets was better that I thought it would be. Especially did not like the fact that many people would blow their noses at the tables; they should have excused themselves.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the shaded areas around the pool; however it was hot. It would have been better if the windows could slide to let in cooler air.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We thought that the shows were entertaining. The singer in the Mojito bar was excellent as was the show band Temperature. We were never able to get into the comedy show, which was disappointing.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
We did not have a lot of interaction with our cabin steward, but he kept the room clean and supplied.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was generally clean. The windows on the pool deck would have allowed air circulation if they could slide open.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin served our purposes.

Ports of call

Cartagena, Colombia

The scenery was nice, but the locks did not excite us.

Mazatlan, Mexico

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Again this process was not exceptable. It took us about 2 hours to get off the ship. Our debarkation time was 9:30am. It had to be 11:00am before we got to emigration.

Agreed about going to the main dining rooms instead of the buffet! Especially for breakfast, the big buffet area quickly becomes chaotic with a full ship.
