Review summary

Just mediocre ports. Ship overcrowded and hard to find places to sit onboard when at sea.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Smooth.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Very good

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Did not mention before boarding that you needed fully closed shoes for race track and laser tag. That was very disappointing.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Saw same shows last year. Language on Jersey Boys was really inappropriate for young children. The language could have been toned down and not loose entertainment value.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Our room steward was overworked. He sometimes didn't get to our room until late afternoon. You raised gratuity price but decreased service . You also need to improve your Thermal Spa noise level. You put out signs but don't monitor and it is no longer quiet or relaxing! You need a full time staff member to regulate the noise for all your paying customers.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Everything was clean but elevators just too slow.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5

Ship tip

Be prepared for extremely crowded and slow elevators.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington Did not visit port

Live near there.

Sitka, Alaska

3 out of 5
It was packed and bus into town was a really long line. Our NCL tour got back 15 minutes late and then a ridiculously slow line to get on boat. So slow we missed our reservation for dinner.

Juneau, Alaska

3 out of 5
Yes we did the team.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

3 out of 5
It was just a sail through no stop.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

3 out of 5
Gondola up to top.

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

1 out of 5
Yes we did to the totem poles. The excursion was very disjointed. Between having to shuttle into town and shuttle back AND a 45 minute wait in line for bus this was actually wasted time. You are in port for such a short period of time and most is spent getting into town and back! Very disappointed!

Victoria, British Columbia

No decent excursion by time you get off boat. Too late in day to see anything worthwhile.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Good

There are many places in the US that are mediocre and worse. As an American (and an inhabitant of Earth), I am allowed to have an opinion of any city, state, country and/or continent that I want. What does having a shared citizenship have to do with my opinion? Nothing. If you don’t want to hear other’s opinions, then you shouldn’t read reviews.

Also, where EXACTLY did you expect to get off in the Endicott Arm Fjord?? Did you want to get on one the little glaciers that floated by??

Calling the place were people live and work in a State in your own country "mediocre" is not cool. How are things where you live? Ok, then..stay home. 😡

Sorry you were disappointed with your cruise.

Appreciate your feedback. If you saw the same shows before, you should have known that the language was inappropriate and been able to avoid the show. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations.
