Review summary

In all a great experience. The Buffett was awful for temps, food poisoning just waiting to happen. My entire party of 7 got sick. But around almost 5,000 people the odds were high. The ports need to be rethought. Too short of time in ports, long lines to take busses and not enough busses. Looking at a similar carnival cruise and the amount of time in port was significantly longer. Not enough seating in buffet and main dining rooms were booked. Large ship but needs more dining options.

Food and Dining

Buffet food was Luke warm at best. Would fail a health inspection. The lounge don’t go unless you have lots of time. Took 15-20 minutes to get a coke. They close the entire buffet so options to get anything during those times is very limited. Hours aren’t posted that we saw. The 2 specialty restaurants we went to were great.

Just book this for 15 day one way thru Panama Canal. Great deal!

Forgot to mention most of these excursions state whether they are handicap accessible.

Thanks for your review. We got up early everyday in port to enjoy each place. I try to look at excursions over a month ahead at each port to know when we need to get off the ship. With a few thousand folks on the cruise, you really need to research it so you can make the most of your cruise. I try to pick excursions that involve mostly sitting on a bus or van since we are seniors. Good luck

Cruise ships undergo regular health inspections and the results are published online, that includes food service facilities. They also publish the buffet hours every day in the freestyle daily schedule they leave at your cabin every evening.

When people look at your excursions they really have to make sure if it's for handicapped accessibility or not. Not every port is good for everybody. Also, some excursions are short this is why we try to pick the ones that we like that are longer
