Disaster from day one. NCL left me feeling like they really do not prioritize guest satisfaction. This cruise was an epic failure both ship and crew grossly unprepared. Guests misled and unhappy. I shared my experiences with a few officers on board. They were not too concerned. Worst vacation ever. Literally. Not enough room to continue with all the unbelievably poor service etc.

When we arrived there were body (pubic)hairs from previous guest in the window sill. The shower leaked all over bathroom floor.
1/2 of an excursion. There was a rock slide NCL knew about made no preparations for 5000 people to get from ship to town and back. Had to wait nearly an hour for small shuttle bus. Horrible
No, too early no operators running or stores open. There was a couple of companies doing town tours. Even they dont understand why NCL comes too early.
I’ve been on ncl many times and the bliss is one of my favs. Kinda sounds like you took an end cap cruise (which are very cheap) and hated it. If you are wanting to be in the thick of it please do yourself a favor and don’t book end and beginning of season cruises and especially not a turn around cruise. Often the staff are very busy transitioning the ship and there can be lots of little (or big with the rockslide) inconveniences that simply aren’t priority for the ship or ports to fix because they are either not a capacity or it’s too early/late in the season.
I don't think this was about the cruise line I think this was about your decision to take this cruise at this time , sorry you didn't have a good time maybe you should think about cruising in a different season. Thanks for your review
This is disturbing to hear about the Encore which was Cruise Critic’s ship of the year 2019 and my personal favorite. Sounds like Alaska was a fail for you, too.
