Review summary

Disaster from day one. NCL left me feeling like they really do not prioritize guest satisfaction. This cruise was an epic failure both ship and crew grossly unprepared. Guests misled and unhappy. I shared my experiences with a few officers on board. They were not too concerned. Worst vacation ever. Literally. Not enough room to continue with all the unbelievably poor service etc.

Embarkation

Arrived to chaos and disorganization

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Food was consistently terrible. Hot food cold. Cold food warm. Staff indifferent.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
3 of 5 hot tubs out of order. One slide was not working.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Six and Jersey Boys were okay.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Staff had no sense of customer service. None. Rude. Disengaged. Overworked. They didnt give a d*mn.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was clean. For being only 5yrs.old decor and amenities dated.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
When we arrived there were body (pubic)hairs from previous guest in the window sill. The shower leaked all over bathroom floor.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

Walked around the city

Juneau, Alaska

1 out of 5
No, no excursions. NCL knows it's too early. Most excursions not even open for the season.

Skagway, Alaska

1 out of 5
1/2 of an excursion. There was a rock slide NCL knew about made no preparations for 5000 people to get from ship to town and back. Had to wait nearly an hour for small shuttle bus. Horrible

Cruise Glacier Bay

4 out of 5
Too early. No calving of glaciers, no abundance of wildlife. NCL knows its too early.

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

4 out of 5
No, too early no operators running or stores open. There was a couple of companies doing town tours. Even they dont understand why NCL comes too early.

Victoria, British Columbia Did not visit port

No transportation to town. Only a few hours in port waste of time.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Fine. Self disembark
