There was a lot good about this trip. Norwegian could make it better with more training for the crew and working on the menus.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation went great, one of the easiest and quickest.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food quality was very good and plentiful. The variety not so much. Breakfast and lunch was very good, the dinner menu not so much. They repeated the same options and ended up eating the same meal a couple of times. The best specialty restaurant was Q then La Cuchina. Los Lobos was a let down in selection and the food wasn't great. The Bistro which has always been our favorite no longer has a steak offering without at least a $10 up charge. It's a shame when your favorite specialty restaurant is the barbeque place. The band was also great. We ate at the local several times. Watch the schedule for the main buffet, it isn't open all day.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
This was a resting trip but we did enjoy the go carts.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
This was our third time seeing the Franky Valley story and it was the best. The Beatles cover band was alright but their South American accents took away from their music. We left "Six" early and our friends who stayed said it didn't improve.
Children's Programs
We don't have any children.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Our last cruise, getting to know the staff was one of the highlights. This cruise while very friendly and quick to respond if asked did not do much extra. Had to ask for ice and apparently turn down service at night is a thing of the past.

Easy to get and learn your way around.
Cabin / Stateroom

The Bliss beds are very firm, too firm for us. We had a balcony room and space was tight, especially at the closet.
Our excursion to the fort was listed as a one for exertion. My wife never saw it as the first ramp was very steep and long. If we had known this we would have chosen something else. Descriptions should mention this. The rest was fairly easy but the fort was tough.
We took the excursion to Antigua which was very interesting and had a great lunch in a local 5 star hotel. This was also listed as a 1 for exertion but there was a lot of walking. We had several older travelers who would have fallen behind if one of the guest in our group hadn't stayed behind at turns to help them find the way and holler at the guide to wait. We also picked up some stragglers from another group till we happened to pass their group.
Second high light for us. We had always wanted to see the cliff divers and they delivered a great show. This trip also included some higher exertion walking with ramps and steps.
We chose to try to get to the airport to get a better flight home. Unfortunately we could not and then our flight got delayed 4 hours and finally got cancelled. Luckily the airline gave us a hotel room and we finally got home late the next day. Remember when I said book your own flight. Norwegian does a great job planning their cruises not so much booking your flights. Second trip we've had to spend an extra night because they chose the last flight of the day or did not allow enough time to get through customs.
