Review summary

The cruise for us was great all up to the disembarkation when it became life-threatening for my wife when the separated us when I was not looking and down the exit ramps and took her back to the theater and would not tell her what was going on and she has Dystonia. If she has an attach with it, she must have her medicine right away and her brace put on. I had her brace and here medicine on my lap on my wheelchair. We were separated for 90 minutes with no way of knowing where each other were and all because norwegian owed us some money. WAS A REALLY SERIOUS 90 MINUTES AND NORWEGIAN COULD HAVE CARED LESS. (note=she was also in a wheelchair)

It seems like pattern for NCL Bliss… my story is not as bad as yours, because it was not life threatening for me… but i will NEVER do this again. They called me as the ship docked and told me to immediately go to guest services… it was like 6am and i had not packed, showered, eaten, had coffee, said goodbye to friends, planned for Seattle… I got down to guest services, tired and super confused… asked what is going on.. and this nasty acting and disrespectful lady treated me like a POS and would respond other than that I can ask the police and customs agents when I get escorted by a police officer off the ship… then she, with officer following me, forced me off the boat while loudly saying on her communication device “I have the PI and we are escorting him off the boat’ and repeated again multiple times… I had left an expensive jacket at the bar the night before and some friends I met dropped it off to her… after I sat in customs for 2.5 hours and they went through all my stuff and logged on to my personal and work laptop, my iPads and iPhone and looked through everything, the customs officers called this lady and asked her to get my jacket… she basically refused or argued with the officer after the officer had told her a couple time “yes, he is cleared and free to go”. 45 minutes later I am waiting and reading the college football line ups, and she comes behind me and almost yells HERE YOU GO!! which made me jump and say Jesus *%&… i grabbed my jacket and left.. frustrated, confused, upset, embarrassed for what other might have possibly thought, hungry, thirsty, no coffee and no clean clothes on, my belongs stuffed in bags and my suitcase… and it was 10:30am-10:45am with a 3 hour drive back home.. I never got a bill, I was not allowed to have even a bottle of water, i left minor things on my room due to the hurry, i was treated like some horrible despicable and guilty criminal by this lady independent of the fact that the customs agents cleared me, on and i’ll stop there before stressing myself further… and oh yeah, there was another couple who were PI (people of interest).. they came down later after having the luxuries that I was not allowed… and they were brought down by this lady without all the embarrassment, in fact she was talking with them and be so nice… First cruise, went solo because i divorced recently and needed time away solo, and Last Cruise i will ever go on…

Such a shame you had those issues when disembarking, glad you managed to enjoy your cruise up until that point

Sorry for the major confusion at the end of the cruise. Glad you enjoyed it up to that moment.

Ketchikan a 20 minute bus ride, or were you at that isolated spot around the corner and down the fjord? But to really do Ketchikan a wheelchair is a bit of a problem with it being on the very edge of the mountain and most of the good stuff is up hill.
