The ship was very nice, though too many floors to go up that were just staterooms. Would be better if common areas more interspersed. Going upstairs (we didn’t use elevators - they were just too crowded and took forever) we had to constantly climb through floors 9-15 with no stopping points. Would be nice to have a couple of lounges like the observation lounge there and rooms put on other floors. Other than that we loved some features: 8th floor blue chairs and 3/4 walking deck, the observation lounge. Atrium was too crowded and noise level very high. Pool area too crowded. Pool area not much larger than Gem but there are twice the people on board! So extremely crowded. Sadly we had to avoid that area. We loved the ports. Want to take this itinerary again.
Embarkation

Good but had to wait over an hour.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Excellent food, but last few days the Coronavirus caused buffet crew to have to hand out food to us and they were way understaffed for that.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
We didn’t use many on board activities except for the fitness room which was great! First place where I found all the size weights I needed!
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Shows & musicians were wonderful. But I didn’t like the reservation system for the big shows. Just went in standby. I wouldn’t make reservations.
Service and Staff

Perfect! And so friendly!
Ship Quality

Common areas were great, clean, neat. We especially liked the Observation Lounge, and having food available was perfect - didn’t have to brave the crowded buffet or wait for food in the restaurant- could look at the ocean any time we wanted. Beautiful place.
Cabin / Stateroom

Steward kept it spotless! We weren’t in the room much but when we were it was very nice.
Ship tip
Find alternative quiet places to go, like the wonderful blue chairs on deck 8 and the observation lounge on deck 15. Keeps you out of the crowds. And don’t use elevators, stairs so much more efficient.
Most beautiful of the islands, so manicured. Did the catamaran to Pitons - best time, we loved it. St Lucia’s is extraordinary, glad it was on the itinerary.
Glad this is on itinerary too. People here are so organized! Wonderful half day at Barnes Beach on Carlisle Bay. The sand is like baby powder and such clear water!! Would like to go on a catamaran too but that was sold out. Dad we couldn’t do more sailing at this island.
Beautiful beach for afternoon beach break at runway beach, but really wanted to do the lobster lunch catamaran but it was sold out. As gold member I get 10% discount if booking excursions on board. So I waited till we got on board and I got most of the excursions we wanted but couldn’t get the ones we wanted on Barbados and Antigua. Disappointing. But the itinerary was spectacular, we loved the islands we went to. We think we will take this same cruise again, just because of the great ports.
