The best cruise ever. You will not be disappointed if you travel on this cruise. One thing I would say is that if you get an onboard credit please make sure to spend every dime of it and part of your onboard credit does not go towards your gratuities. I would recommend not putting a credit card up until you have spent every fine if your onboard that way when you do put your credit card up on your account there will be no unspent money from your onboard credits. I recommend putting cash on your account and monitor your account every day.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
My embarkation experience was absolutely amazing. The Norwegian Bliss ship was beautiful. The food was delicious. For every Nationality they had dishes to accommodate their guests. The chef makes each and every day their own crust for pizza. There was lots of entertainment and activities for every age. There was a speedway track, laser tag on the ship. The staff was absolutely a delight to be around and towards the last day on the ship the cruise staff showed their talent - some sang, dance and one of the bartenders showed his skills with mixing a drink while holding a few shakers on his arm and did tricks.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Although, I did not dine in the main dining rooms, the specialty restaurants were great. They had a restaurant called Q Barbecue. The fried okra with the Cajun sauce and the graham cracker streusel sweet potato pie was the best. The food was delicious and they give you plenty.
The Observation Lounge
5 out of 5
Now this was the very best part of the ship. There was plenty of seating, bars and you could also go here for light breakfast in the morning and a light lunch. The Observation Lounge also had entertainment with a person playing the piano each night. This was the highlight of the ship.
The Local Bar & Grill
5 out of 5
The Local was nice, but kinda small, but they did have another area for folks to sit and order food and drinks. This restaurant was a popular spot every day.

The Cagney Steakhouse was really nice and the staff was very nice. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
I enjoyed walking the track around the ship each and every day. I did not do any other activities on the ship, but there was plenty to choose from such as laser tag, speedway track and water slide looked like the kids will enjoy it.
Fitness Center
5 out of 5
The fitness center was huge and they had plenty of treadmills, elliptical machines and other equipment to work out on.
Tradewinds Tax-and-Duty-Free Shops

This was a nice shop to buy snacks, gifts and shop for jewelry and other goods such as alcohol.
Bliss Casino
5 out of 5
The Bliss casino was really nice and there were several machines to choose from.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The ships stage shows and other entertainment was really good. There was a 3-person band and one singer called The Familiar a Stranger they were absolutely wonderful. Their singer could sing anyone song and knew how to engage the audience. They had Jersey Boys performance a few nights which was really good.
Bliss Theater
5 out of 5
The Bliss Theater was large and could hold a few hundred people for shows.
Children's Programs
I did not take any children on this cruise
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service was superb. Every staff member that Iβve encountered was nice and very helpful to all their guests.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ships layout was very nice. The ship was absolutely beautiful. All the areas were clean and their staff was wiping down the stairs, walls and other common areas several times a day.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
My cabin was really large to be a balcony. The bathroom was spacious with a large shower that two people could fit in there. There was a double sink. You had plenty room to walk around in the cabin and not be cramped. The balcony was a nice size to go sit out there every day.
Ship tip
Walking the stairs would be quicker than waiting on the elevator due to the number of guests onboard. The ship holds at least 6,700 people which about 1,700 are crew members.
Iβve been to this island several times and did not do an excursion this time around. This island holds a special place in my heart because my husband got married on this island.
