I was disappointed with the design of the ship. I talked to a few people that had been on over 50 cruises. And they rated this ship and cruise as one of their worst cruises..

Ate at the main dining rooms, buffet and the local. And they were wonderful.. ate 1 meal at Jimmy Buffet's.. and was very disappointed with it.

Onboard Activities

Not enough to keep 4,200 people busy. And they did most on those activities in the main area. Could never get a seat.

Waiters and bartenders were really good. but house keeping started out fantastic.. and went down hill as the cruise went on.

Ship layout sucked.. not enough elevators for that many people. And the pools were to small and only 2. So people saved chairs all day long. Also the observation lounge was alway full with people sleeping ( with their cabin pillows and blankets) just not set up for all the people onboard.

If going on the Bliss.. go to Alaska. Not the Carribbean.

As if experienced cruisers add more weight to the review. I've found that folks with 50+ cruises are a little burned out of cruising and tend to be overly critical. As in life, causing is what you make of it. I'm not saying people can't dislike something. I'm just saying I've heard all this before from others who probably shouldn't be cruising in the first place. We know embarkation/disembarkation are not the highlights of the cruise. Yes, people save deck chairs. Yes, there are a lot of people onboard. No, the crew is not there to suck up to you. They get paid about $1,000/month for a crap job. Let's see how your attitude is if you were in their shoes. The last I checked,there were four pages of activities each day to keep you entertained. The only thing you missed was the awful food. I'm sure it doesn't live up to the fast food and frozen dinners you have at home. Whew......I don't know about you but I feel much better now.
