Review summary

Like I said, nice new ship that could very well be set up a lot differently. As other reviews have stated, you can't get a reservation for anything. We had the unlimited beverage which is certainly limited. You can't have a bottle of water or fresh OJ without paying extra, realllllllllly NCL,think about it.All the wine and drinks we want and then $20.00 for water, woooooooooow. Now dinner. We as well paid for 3 nights of dining and got 1 only by skipping Victoria. We went to Cagney's and the food was good but the staff ruined that by trying to rush us out. They were still sell dining pkgs on board when they new they were sold out,LAWSUIT maybe,Theft of course Asked for a refund and you would think I had 3 heads and was told to make reservations earlier, lol We paid for a MINI Suite on the stern and couldn't use it because it was coveredin DIESEL CRAP every morning. They cleaned it up but so much for that nice time in the am for breakfast with my wife. They did say they were sorry every day,STOP IT NCL I will say if you do go and you shouldn't ask for Orest at the Observation Bar or Jose' at Savor and Rowena at Mixx Bar as they were very kind and Wonderful. NEVER EVER WILL WE EVER SEE ANOTHER NCL SHIP AGAIN, EVER,EVER,EVER

I brought a water bottle and that was perfect. The water is safe to drink

If you had done a little research, you would have known to book things ahead of time and that bottled water was not free.

1957cruiser- you cant bring water on board. You can purchase a 12 pack of 1 liter bottles for $33.54 USD. While you can bring wine on board, there is a cork fee based on the bottle size whether the bottle has a cork or not.

Research is awesome.

@brendascruisin, I’m thinking based on the NCL website we can’t bring bottled water? The only thing I see is that we can bring one bottle of wine pp per cabin? Do you know if we can bring bottled water, that would be great if so. I agree this is going to be an amazing experience no matter what!

I have never cruised before and I’m going on my first in September. I’ve been researching for months about everything on the Bliss, what I’ll need to pack and cruising in general. I’m ready and prepared. I have my water bought so it will be in my room and have all my reservations for shows and dinning made. My excursions are booked and were researched before hand. I’m not letting a bad review stop me from having the best time! I agree with njoylife! Enjoyed your life. Go with the flow and don’t get freaked out over little things! Can’t wait, only 53 more days ❤️

All beverage packages vary on the different cruise lines. On Carnival you can get coffee and water and juice but alcohol is limited to 15 drinks a day and is NEVER offered as a perk. On Celebrity the type of alcohol is limited by the drink package you buy or get as a perk so if you get a drink in the Martini bar there is an upcharge. They all have their own little quirks and it helps to know before you go as they say.
