Review summary

Overall a lovely ship and great crew. The Lido food, Tamarind, snacks...all were really good quality. Very clean ship. Entertainment was blah. Felt rushed by the dining room staff. The room was awesome!

Quick and efficient. Some of the volunteers a little spastic but overall fine.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Overall the food quality was excellent. In the dining room we felt a little rushed.

Onboard Activities

There was a lot of nothing for us. Yes the itinerary was busy but the activities didn’t appeal to us in particular.

The stage is really great! The dancers themselves...meh. One comedian was great and the second not so much. I’ve seen much better entertainment on other ships in the past. Really enjoyed the Chat With Captain hour! NEED to have this in the BEGINNING of the cruise.

Service and Staff

All staff were wonderfully efficient, friendly, and informative.

Overall a beautiful ship. I missed having a center atrium, but got used to this floor plan.

Cabin / Stateroom

Super nice and great use of space. If you want a balcony, do not go any lower than deck 5. We were on deck 4 and tenders were in the way of the view.

Ship tip

If a balcony room, then start at deck 5. Deck 4 has tenders that will obstruct view.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Super easy to get there from 5 min!

Nassau, Bahamas

Cute. Enjoyed getting on the public bus and riding around the island to get away from the cruise traffic.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Loved this city! Old Town is walking distance. You do NOT need transportation to get to Old Town.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Beautiful town. The tram is $20 each person if you buy on ship. It’s one dollar more at the window. View is nice but rip off price. FYI, it’s $8 one way per person to get a ride into town

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

9 years ago we married here! This time, what a disappointment. Super windy so no BBQ. The food that was provided was lame cheese sandwiches thrown together and water. If you wanted something more substantial, either pay $20 or go back to the ship. We felt really jipped.

If you take yourself off with suitcases, you get to the other side in mintues!
