I'm not sure Holland America is for us anymore. They do treat the elderly well, so maybe when we get older...... For right now, we might check out another cruise line that hasn't made so many cuts. I do understand that this business is trying to recover from their Covid losses ... but too many services are now sub-par.

Really loved it. Food in the main dining room is very good, so using the specialty restaurants is not necessary, although it adds more great choices.

Would definitely use this cruise line again. Not many children at all most were 50-75 average age. Definitely do the same itinerary at the same time of year. And would like to have all my future sailings out of Ft. Lauderdale. So convenient but pretty pricey if staying over night.

I will never do a Holland American cruise again. I was very disappointed by staff and the cruise line. The food wasn’t that great. The trip wasn’t worth the money It was for my sisters birthday and it was terrible

Covid check on boarding. And a day before disembarking is strongly suggested.

This was our first cruise and between the ship, crew and staff, as well as all ports, we could not be happier.

The cruise was wonderful a little disappointed we never got to go Jamaica the ship was not able to dock. However we were a group of 4 women and we made the best of the situation. We enjoyed each others company and made the best of the situation. Overall our cruise to Jamaica was disappointing that we didn’t get to see the island but we can always try again. Was relaxing and the 4 of us laughed and enjoyed our time on the ship. Thank goodness for the thermal spa!

I didn't like that I booked and had Cozumel and didn't find out it was taken off and Nassau was on...so I didn't get to go to cozumel or Jamaica the 2 ports I bought this cruise for!!

We loved the Islands and the people. The cruise ship was beautiful and super clean but so boring. Don't take a HAL cruise if you like to have any sort of entertainment on your cruise.

Dining staff and cabin steward were great. We did the curacao beach and highlights tour (not great). No karaoke on ship. Trivia hit or miss. Ship was under staffed. Aruba was great would love to go back.

Never going on Holland again kept running out of food waffle cones for the ice cream ranch didn’t have any kind of steak sauce. I bought the drink package and it was horrible. Going up to the bars waiting in line to get a drink every time.

Always a HAL fan and this was our second Thanksgiving cruise on the Nieuw Amsterdam however it wasn’t the best cruise.

This trip was for the most part a disappointment. Our dinner at the Pinnacle Grill was excellent but this was the only good part about this cruise. Even though the other food areas had different food at each area, they left a lot to be desired because they had the same food at each station each day. There were only two channels on the TV that were worth watching, unless you wanted to see news programming. There were five channels dedicated to that and two dedicated to sports.

Amazing and beautiful sites to see! The weather was perfect! The people and places on these small islands are very kind and welcoming! Truly enjoyed this cruise! The Pinnacle Grill is a must the best place on the ship!!

We purchased an engagement ring at Effy Jewelry onboard the ship. The same guy who sold us the ring made a pass at my fiancé. Without getting into too much detail, she was bothered over the incident and didn’t eat and was bothered that night too. She told me about the incident the next day. Needless to say, I was taken back that the very guy who sold us the engagement ring made a pass at my fiancé. What should have been a memorable experience now has a stain on it. I did file a complaint with Effy and Holland America. Hopefully this gets resolved in a proper way. The nerve of this guy who sold us the engagement ring and then makes a pass at the same woman who just got engaged. I’m having a hard time getting past it.

Last minute trip for us, decided to take 2 year old and 3 year old. My parents came as well. We had a great time. The beach at half moon cay was fabulous, the food was so enjoyable and our children are at a good age to still have fun on the ship. I love this ship, never feels crowded at all.

Definitely going on Holland again my husband said he is done with Carnival
