Perfect cruise for a winter getaway. I used a EmeTerm anti nausea band & it worked! We had 13 foot waves for 2 days & I was fine.

We were on Nieuw Amsterdam in March 2018. We loved the ship. Food in MDR was absolutely delicious every night. The buffet was great and had the most friendly smiling crew. Our cabin steward always greeted us by name and asked how our ports were every day. Cabin always spotless. He was great. Not a lot to do on the ship during the day but that’s what the ports are for. Loved them all. The Dive-In had the best hamburgers we’ve ever had and the hotdogs and fries were very good. Pizza place had pizza made to order and you get the whole pie, not just a slice. Also yummy Caesar salad. Holland caters to an older crowd, which we are and loved it. At the pool they have piped in music, no loud bands or DJ’s. So relaxing. We had a great cruise on Nieuw Amsterdam.
