Our first cruise experience! It was GREAT! by goodby1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

Had a great time: our highlights were all the meals and the service during the meals, the great escape room (we escaped with 8 minutes to spare!), the ice show (it was really good... definitely go... there are DRONES!). The water slides were ... meh. Catalina island is okay but if you live in LA, it isn't anything new. Ensenada was a LOT of people hawking tourist goods to you although La Bufadora was nice to see.

Entertaining Cali/Mexico Cruise by gmoran

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

Overall a fun cruise as it was our first time, ship was at half capacity which made it seem so flowing and easy to navigate. Staff was amazing and the shows were better than I expected. Food was ok not great and the pool was not heated which was a bummer.

Nice ship, didn't like ports of call by MPSLV2CRZ

Fun cruise with sister and friends. We are from East Coast and wanted to try the Pacific Ocean side of Mexico. Did not like it at all. We will stick with the Caribbean!

A Great Getaway From It All by lisahorneonfox

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

The amplifications made on this ship were excellent, especially in the pool area. Drinks: Goonbay Smash and Lime and Coconut are outstanding! They hold 70s and 80s theme parties so bring your neon tees or bell bottom jeans and get ready to dance. No need to rush to the pool area to get a lounge chair. We had plenty of chairs to choose from at noon. If you get there by 10am you may get a cabana or day bed. The Escape Room was not open on our cruise due to Covid protocols still in place. Note: NO MASKS are required on the ship if you are vaccinated. MASKS ARE REQUIRED embarking and disembarking.

Great experience but unfair on all hidden fees in the end of the cruise. by meakacrenshaw

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

My cruise was amazing, everyone was extremely friendly. I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the dinner but for one night because we scheduled to have dinner late. The food was not that satisfying in my opinion. I think it should be better verbalized or written out that we would be paying for every single thing with our sea pass so we wouldn’t be tipping cash. I did not like how in the end the disembarking didn’t have a staff member explain the fees that were on the sea passes. I think the cruise line should ensure a detailed receipt of some sort.

Awesome trip! . by jevans11

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

Had a great time- only bummer was the masking!! I won’t go again until there is not a masking rule and also the vaccinated abs unvaccinated discrimination. It’s absurd. I’m vaccinated and have had Covid. Vaccines don’t work and people are tired of the mandates that are at this point pretty senseless.

We had an amazing time by jdfamilyguy

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

Overall for our first cruise this was an amazing experience! Cant wait to go again! The boat had so much to offer and so many fun things to do. The food was good and you could always find something to eat if needed. Literally a bar around every corner it seemed like so you can always have a drink in your hand. For soda lovers like us, there were only 4 Coke Freestyle machines on the whole boat so that was really annoying. I'd like to see them add more of those in other common locations so it's easier to get a soda.

Anniversary Cruise by dmagnu6013

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

This is our 24th cruise not all with Royal Caribbean. We have been on two cruises now that the ships have started sailing and prefer Royal Caribbean due to the cleanliness of the ships. You don't feel like you have a cattle prod pushing you from one end to the other while on board and there is lots to do if you want or just relax if you want. This trip was just to decompress and do nothing and we really enjoyed it.

First RCL Cruise by blitzo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

My first RCL cruise, have done NCL, Princess, and Carnival before. Royal the best in overall comparison. The food is far superior. The boarding process was unbelievably quick. Got out of my cab at the baggage check-in and was sipping my first drink onboard in 30 minute. (note I found out latter that this particular cruse only had 760 passengers)
