Review summary

Great cruise from LA port. Only thing was weather for us was little cold.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Everything was smooth from the porters checking our bags, to ticket counter, and boarding ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Specialty dining was exceptional, windjammer food could be a little cold

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Headliners were good, guitar player in Copper bar was friendly and funny

Children's Programs

Our only kid was 17 years old and did not use children programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
EVERYONE on the ship was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Although ship was refurbished in 2019, some things were missed. Carpet in stateroom was ok, but not great. Some paint on the ship was peeling (not expected with refurb only 2 years old)

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Balcony cabins are way to go. The only thing was it would not cool down enough for us, Temp from fan was cold, but fan was so low did not distribute temp evenly in room

Ship tip

Just the right size for a cruise ship. We could get everywhere on the ship easily, unlike Oasis which was just way to big.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

Used only to get on and off ship. If it was a port of call, I would recommend the eating and shops on San Pedro pier.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
No excursion, only stayed on pier. Getting tender tickets was unorganized.

Mazatlan, Mexico

4 out of 5
Once again stayed on pier. Was enough shopping and food for us.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

4 out of 5
Our excursion was zipping lining in the jungle. It was great experience, owner and staff we friendly and welcoming. Pier was little confusing on you leave one side and enter on the other side.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We used a porter and it could not have gone smoother

We did the Navigator at the end of November and we enjoyed it. We booked it again for a back-to-back-to-back in April.
