Review summary

Fantastic cruise. Enjoyed all aspects of the ship and experience.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Really easy and enjoyable. Cases taken from us and we were taken through to a private area where we were checked in all while having a glass of fizz! We were then greeted by our butler and escorted to the top sail lounge where more drinks and nibbles were provided while we were told our cabin was ready and briefed by our butler.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Yacht club restaurant was brilliant with high quality food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Yacht club bar & grill had food all day availible from breakfast through to dinner including fresh fish and steak cooked to order as well as buffet style food and hotdogs and burgers, Even afternoon tea. We also eat in the main buffet, Hola, Tapanyaki and these were also fantastic. The bars were great and served some delicious cocktails. Can’t fault the food, drink or service in any of the restaurants or bars.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty to do. F1 simulator, 4D cinema, VR arena and bowling are a must so get the Fun pass before you sail!! Water park looked great but didn’t get chance to do it as we were just so spoilt for choice. Plenty of pools to choose from and activities are scheduled around the ship all day every day such as dance classes, quizzes etc.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Plenty of shows, events and activities to choose from to suit all. Must sees are the skywalker show and the carousel shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All friendly and seem happy in their work.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship is constantly being cleaned, I would say that you can see that it is abused due to the “booze cruises” but the staff are always working to keep it looking good.

Long walks to get out of port hassle off locals to get into taxis and outside the ports it’s like a prison wall all around it. Not a place o would go to again.

Disembarkation

Escorted off the ship by our butler when we were ready to leave and cases were in a separate area. Off the ship cases collect and in a taxi within 15 minutes.

Thanks for your detailed review. Too bad you had to deal with hawkers or overbearing taxi drivers. Unfortunately, as you probably already know there's many port cities like this. That's why I prebooked an excursion from this particular port to avoid them.
