Review summary

We done this cruise round trip Barcelona 10th Aug 2019. European cruise lines are different to American cruise lines - service is different to suit different cultures. For us we felt lower level customer service, lower standard and variety of foods, lower onboard entertainment than we would have preferred. Hence we would not have MSC at top of our list to cruise again however we would not rule out another try if itinerary warranted it.

Room steward excellent. Drink waiters painfully slow and inefficient, often hard to find.

Excellent quality ship, great design overall however the lifts let it down significantly - not enough to cope with passenger numbers, very long wait times.
