This was our 2nd cruise with MSC and I have to say that we really love cruising with MSC. Staff is always so polite and helpful. Other cruisers are friendly and fun to meet. There is always something to do, weather it's shopping, swimming, bowling, casino fun, parties or other activities. Definitely a great family vacation for us. I'm sure we will be cruising with MSC again next year!

Buffet was great, as usual. However, we felt like the food on the Seaside didn't live up to the food we had on the Divina last year.

The pools were all great. But the absolute best thing for our family was the Forest Aquaventure Park. With a shallow, non-salt water pool for the kiddos with water blasters, ropes course, water features and 4 water slides, this is where we spent a great deal of our cruise. My daughters are ages 8, 16 and 19 and they all enjoyed the water park on board the Seaside.
Entertainment

The Michael Jackson themed theater show called Starwalker was amazing! The performers were very talented, there was a variety of MJ songs featured and during"Thriller", and the performers even came off stage and interacted with the audience a bit. It was a great show!

Our formal dinner was at the Seashore Restaurant and while the food was not very impressive, our waiter was AMAZING! Our main waiter was named Edison, and he went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our dinner. On our last night at formal dinner, all of the servers surprised us with a little dance performance that they had worked very hard on. One of the waiters close to us even started doing a couple magic tricks and balancing wine bottles. It was a fun and entertaining way to close out our last formal dinner on the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

We stayed in adjoining balcony cabins 13016 & 13018. My husband and I stayed in 13018 and our daughters ages 19, 16 & 8 stayed in 13016. Our last cruise we had a basic inside stateroom, but this cruise we had balcony rooms. It was such a different experience. We thoroughly enjoyed having a balcony this time. The room itself was spacious and included a couch, desk/vanity area, huge bed and a balcony with 2 chairs and little footstool/table. It was perfect size for us!
Thank you for sharing your experience on this particular ship because my husband and I will be on that same ship in a little less than a month and a half. This will be our first time cruising with MSC.
