Review summary

Although we did have a great time, I will never travel with MSC again. As I mentioned prior, we had trouble with the cabin, I paid for internet for 2 devices, was only able to access it on one and only on the first night, and the medical issue.

Embarkation was terrific. We went directly to the bar and the main bartender made terrific drinks for us.

There were only 2 main dining rooms and we were only able to access one. It was crowded and extremely slow. We ordered drinks and waited quite awhile. One member of our party finally went out to the bar and brought back drinks. We finished those by the time our drinks were brought to us. It took over 1 hour to have our meal. The buffets were very extensive and goo.

When I booked the cabin, it was noted that there was only one suite remaining with a "fold out" sofa and the rest had sofas that turned into bunk beds, so I quickly booked that one remaining suite. When the person setting up our room came in, he showed me that the sofa was a bunk bed. In addition, I booked it for 3 people. The room was set up for 2.

Disembarkation

My boyfriend contracted food poisoning and was at the medics. Was taken by ambulance to the hospital so I went with him. Our other roommate had the regular disembarkation

MSC is not a carbon copy of Carnival, Royal Caribbean or NCL. Wanting them to be similar to past experiences on those lines will usually result in disappointment. The Internet service desk should’ve been able to resolve your issues Logging in on the 2nd device. MSC does not have great bar service in the dining room, so it takes longer. The best option is to get drinks at a nearby bar and bring it with you to dinner.
