MSC Seaside

4 Night Bahamas (Port Canaveral Roundtrip)

Sail date: July 02, 2023

Ship: MSC Seaside

Cabin number: 12080

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Review summary

While the ship is beautiful, the food is below average and restaurants are rarely open and the ones that are, are overcrowded. The crew is incredibly disorganized when it comes to Ports of call, and excursions. Wifi was spotty and rarely worked properly. The App is also clunky and often disconnected. I will not be using MSC for any other cruises. It's worse than Carnival

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
One of the top two problems with this ship is the food - Rarely are all of the restaurants open, nothing seems to be really good either. Very Average diner food for such a pretty ship. Annoying that the App doesnt even show you a ship map, or what actual restaurants are currently open. While they "Promote" free room service, the pickings are SLIM and not good at all

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Awful - comedian and shows are basically ship staff

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Cabin steward was awesome - Dining staff was great - it was the other personnel that was the reason for this score. When it comes time to do off ship activities, it is incredibly disorganized and confusing. a mess

MSC Seaside comments are right on the money. If MSC cruiselines are a budget cruiseline, why do they build ships for the line and have diamond staircases in the main activity areas? (P&O Australia was, and it never had new ships. They were all hand me downs). That last bit was not directed at the reviewer. Thank you for your review.
