Review summary

Booked with BJ agent did NOT tell us it was a back to back. East West. With going back to Miami agent said she would get our rooms close together, she didn’t. Different floors even. Not happy. Booked withBJ s before. No problem

Buffets about the same everyday. Main dining room food ok but not up to other ship line standards. Do not go to specialty restaurant for the price of the cruise you should be special in the main dining room.

Onboard Activities

Mostly used the hot tubs when not to many kids in them. Lounge near our dining room had a couple drinks most night before dinner. Service poor and had to go to the bar often to get drinks. One server that took our order lost our ship card. Not Happy

Entertainment

Michael Jackson only show we really enjoyed. Rest of shows just ok. Jokes and announcements in several languages. Not happy

In all fairness, if you use a travel agent, it is their job to educate the client on all aspects of their trip. That's why they are paid a commission. Not everyone wants to do research and they entrust their TA to guide them.

It is not MSCs fault that your travelagent booked a b2b cruise and did not tell you. And to be honest, I simply don’t understand why you did not do any research yourself.

I think your mind was made up from the start and you were dead set on not enjoying much of the cruise. Negative attitude will bring you down every time.

Sounds to me like your lack of research was your own fault. Hard to believe you didn't know it was a back to back cruise, did you just call up your agent and say put me on any cruise? You weren't going to enjoy this cruise no matter what, because you screwed up! Don't give the cruiseline a bad review because you were bitter before you even boarded the ship.

I think alot of people don't search at all,if they did they would have known that it's a Europeen company and they have people from all over the world! And Yes ! They speak 5 languages.... I am French from Québec Canada and speak english and i love IT when they make some announcement in french! Makes me feel like i am part of the party!!😁😁🥰🥰

I’m curious if you did any searching about MSC before booking. I have read numerous times that announcements are made in at least 3 languages. I also read storage is tight in the cabins and drink service in dining rooms is sketchy at best. My cruise isn’t until April, but I already know what to expect. When I booked, I knew which cabin and which experience I wanted. All my TA had to do was place the booking and give me a perk for using them. Sorry you were disappointed with many aspects you weren’t aware of.
