Review summary

We took the Eastern Caribbean 7 day out of Miami. The ship was amazing, not only was it beautiful, but also functional. It never really felt crowded, except embarkation day, but they all do when everyone coming aboard. We have cruised many times with Carnival and Royal Caribbean, this was much the same, but different. My wife didn't care much for MSC and I can see why, the European influence showed, however I really enjoyed it. I guess it's all in what you expect.

Food is good, better in the dining room, buffet seems to be the same thing every day, luckily they have excellent pizza.

Holy crap the shows are amazing. If you looking for a plot and series of events that makes sense, that's not them, but if your looking for an absolute amazing 40 minutes you have to check them out.

We had quite a few issues with our room steward. We called guest services and they treated us like we were crazy.

Cabin was great, didn't seem to have as much storage as a carnival cabin, but we made it work. The location was great for us as we spent a lot of time on deck 8 outside the Seaview lounge.
