Review summary

MSC will definitely be a cruise line we will consider when we look for future cruise adventures. It's indeed a European environment and takes us back to our experiences where we were stationed in Europe. The fact that they did the status match was a BIG PLUS! But beware that you may be in the minority as an English Speaker on some activities. Food quality exceeded the other cruise lines. A more formal environment, but enjoyable.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
Miami port seemed to be organized and able to handle all the traffic involved with multiple cruise ships

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Went to Dunns Falls-it was very interesting and a one of a kind experience even if you don't have the ability to climb the falls.

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
The Best of the Caymen's excursion was a bit boring.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
History and beaches are the key.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

See the ruins.

Disembarkation

Status match? We booked a balcony room ..do you know if the doors are sliding glass or swing glass for balcony? We would love to hear the ocean at night and hard to do with the swing doors

We are booked on the seaside at the end of this month. Looking forward to a more upscale environment...we have cruised with carnival, RC, Norwegian, and disney so qeyare not looking for the typical "party" ship. We are bringing my mother in law (born in Switzerland so the European feel will be wonderful for her) What do you mean when you speak of "status
