Can not beat the deal. Free drinks, beautiful ship, great activites and entertainment. Enjoyed interacting with staff and the ship has the wow effect.
Just dont understand the negative reviews. Similar cruises can easily cost twice, if not more in costs. Yet this was first class all the way.

We arriaved early and was able to quickly go through security then baorded the ship, all in about 20 mins.

Food and Dining

So many complain about the food, yet they all gain 10 pounds during the cruise. We liked the MDR and was treated well by our servers. There was a good variity offered and the courses were servered without delay. Note that there are three set dining times and also three performances for the main theater show.
We did the buffet a few times, and of course the pizza bar was always a temptation. With the addition of two seperate buffets, it never seemed crowed or an issue finding a table.
Onboard Activities

Many activites were offered. With the lower deck, there was always a place to explore or sit down.
A flaw however is the deep main pool areas. Most did not use the pool and selected the hot tubs.
This should be corrected during refit. Another observation, and comparing with the Divina, the disco was a much smaller scale.
Entertainment

This is a large ship, and as such has many music and entertainment venues. You will find your favorite and be a regular during the week. We especially liked the Jazz Club.
The main theater was used several times a day, and the Seaside inclued a comedy improv group that was very funny. Also sports, gym, children's area and hopping added to the "entertainment".
Children's Programs

We had our teens and they enjoyed exploring the ship. The waterpark, slides and programs were all every good.
Service and Staff

You treat people nice, they go out of their way to be nice to you.
Our steward was very nice and provided all extras we wanted.
The staff at the service desk, shops, bars and MDR were great with smiles and we enjoyed taking with them.
Ship Quality

It is over the top. MSC pushes the design of their ships and has the wow effect. The common areas were very clean, tables, and hallways were kept uncluttered.
Cabin / Stateroom

No issues with AC, or keeping fully stocked.
Our steward refreshed our room serveral times a day and provided the extras we wanted.

Dont believe all the negative reviews. Great ship, great price and great cruise.
At first we did not know how it would work out not arriaving until 5 p.m.?
As is turned out, we were able to disemmark quickly, it was still light, and was fun to enjoy some of the local "night life" One of our favorite ports.
Several visits here, We walk to town, catch a bus on Back Street to Mullett Bay ($2), walk to Maho Beach, then take the bus back to town and walk back? Our cost is $4 for the bus and we enjoy the interaction. Also explore Front Street and the Boardwalk.
I’m glad to read this! I believe a cruise is how you make it. I’ve had no big problems on any ships I’ve been on and can’t wait for MSC Seaside in June!
