Review summary

Price is great, ship very beautiful and designed, service lousy at best, food and service of food needs major improvement great entertainment on board however even in theater not very handicapped orientated. This was my 102nd cruise and if I had to rate it it would be in the top five of my least enjoyable

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Msc have mastered embarking the ship. Wife in a wheelchair, easy to get on ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food at best was adequate only. Service in dining room very poor. Order by steak well done, comes to you blood rare, 4 people at table given 3 pieces of butter, glasses never refilled unless you ask, you get the drift, staff very very rude

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Have one of the best water slides on the high seas, as well as many pools on board. Jungle pool area extremely nice just to lounge around

Entertainment

4 out of 5
In this area the ship shines, great shows and music adequate throughout the ship.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Very very rude, unless you are of European nature

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is huge, very beautiful and is always being maintained day and night

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin extremely nice with very good space and amenities. Cabin stewardess Maria always on top of things, keeping room clean and kept nice. Only drawback to Cabin would be drawer space and closet space, very little of both

Ship tip

Don’t be handicapped, only ship I’ve ever been on where you’re on your own. They help you on board from embarkation but beyond that forget about ut

On the Seaside right now. We find the crew to be very friendly and accommodating and they all speak English very well. The food u MDR and specialty restaurants we have found to be excellent.

Travelled in April/May had no complaints food and service in MDR was exceptional and I am from the UK!

Re service and staff, why does it matter if you are , of european nature, , with regard to rudeness of staff? I dont think Europeans like to be treated rudely either.

If it was so bad, why have you given it 4 stars....

Generally, you treat people nice, they go out of their way to be nice to you.

We found the food to be very good, even the buffet. We simply asked for more butter. Staff very warm and efficient. We are Americans and felt the service was superb. No complaints from these happy cruisers.
