Review summary

The only thing that I found a little disturbing was that there were a lot of small kids very late in areas where they not suppose to be like in the disco and casino and this is the first time experiencing this on a cruise. Normal rules is that small kids can't be allowed in those areas. Thank you .

Disembarkation

With a porter is easy to disembark, without one you have to stand in a very long line and it takes time before you get by the immigration.

MSC cruises are different from most others out there in my opinion. Thank you for your review.

Colin, on the Seaside there were no lifejackets in the cabin, it was stated that they would be at your muster station in the event of an emergency. MSC does one muster drill at 4 pm, but since they sail a little later than most ships, they also do another one (I think the next day, but it may be later the first evening) for those who boarded after the main drill.

Lifeboat drill , I am researching different companies lifeboat and evacuation policies , ie. where is your lifejacket. In cabin where you never are. Or is it duplicated at lifeboat waiting for you to access from wherever you are at the alarm sounding , Are drills held before ship leaves port if new passengers join or do staff have a private word with them and no general drill takes place Ships are getting bigger and bigger , passengers joining and leaving daily , thousands of people who haven’t a clue what to do in a true emergency , That is why a general generic approach is essential. So seasoned travellers know the drill, Every time we step on an airplane the drill is the same worldwide, why are passenger ships different , Yours Colin Campbell. Campbellcolin9@aol.com
