We paid for spa 414 dollars total for wife and myself disappointed cause the times we used the spa sauna and steam room we’re off not functioning the way they were supposed to and also pay for the for dinner package $365 come to find out they were only a minimal place to order for that price on the menu would have never purchased the spot and the dinner package

Aside from the issues we had with our reservation, the cruise line and the ship are fantastic. This was our second time sailing through cheapcrusies and MSC though I am concerned whether we will do a third due I ended up having to pay out so much extra.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. It was our first time with MSC and we primarily went to check out the line and their newest ship. We have cruised Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Norwegian, Costa, and now MSC. I would put MSC somewhere in the middle of the pack. Will be go with MSC again? That depends on the price. If it is similar to Celebrity, R.C. or Holland America, not a chance. If it is around the same price as Norwegian, it would be dependent on the itinerary. Costa is irrelevant. If you are cruising Costa it is because you can't afford anything else.

I'm a very well traveled guest and my first cruise with MSC. MSC UPSELL PROGRAM: While the crew were pleasant enough, they are poorly trained. They are CONSTANTLY trying to upsell you on speciality restaurants, drink packages, services, etc. On the day of embarkation, I was approached and interrupted 7 different times!!!! It was incredibly annoying and disrespectful. This is not the crew fault likely but MSC forcing them to upsell. NOT a pleasant experience for me or others who also commented on same. I was constantly interrupted while eating or drinking to be upsold. It continued throughout the entire cruise. Very poor experience. I actually began to try to hide from them in the buffet restaurant. FOOD: The food was very disappointing. The worst I've ever had on a cruise and I've been on many. It needs serious work. Take note from Celebrity, Oceania, and others where each meal is beyond amazing. I thought several items I choose to eat were terrible on MSC and I'm not a fussy eater. Never have I ever disliked any food on Celebrity. ENTERTAINMENT: Entertainers were average but the shows were poorly choreographed and produced. Not great at all. BAR SERVICE: It was incredibly confusing as to what the process was for ordering a drink. The crew didn't want you to order at the bar or stand around the bar, but yet they would RARELY come to you to ask if I wanted a drink. There were plenty of waiters standing around but not moving about the passengers asking if they needed anything. POOL LIFE GUARDS: Waste of resources! They do absolutely NOTHING and the older one working the infinity pool was rude and constantly calling out people. No ship I have been on has life guards...especially at an adults only pool! It made me feel like I was constantly being watched and uncomfortable. Make them pool attendants and provide service to your guests! CABIN: Cabin size was good and it was clean. However, no basic supples....no facial tissue, no cotton swabs, no hair conditioner, no lotion! So NOT nice. Never been on any cruise or stayed in any hotel where all these were not automatically provided. It was very disappointing. MSC CLAIM TO BE GREEN AND ECO FRIENDLY: Not true at all!!!!! You MUST stop using single use plastics on your entire fleet! I must have gone through 25-35 plastic water bottles alone. VERY sad. Also, your cheap shampoo and body wash have phosphates listed as the 2nd ingredient...TERRIBLE for the ocean and environment! Also contain many other chemicals known to be bad for the environment. Change them! Since this was a new ship I expected to enjoy it more than I did. Some of the bar venues are very poorly designed where you can't see the performers. Overall all it was not a great cruise.

This private island is so awesome. Lounge chairs provided, lunch served, and even have music playing throughout the island! We already booked another 2 day stay.

Beautiful ship and wonderful crew but we will not sail MSC again. Website is terrible.

We had a blast on this beautiful ship! The crew was outstanding, best service we have ever had on any cruise! Don't hesitate to give MSC a try.

Beautiful Ship - lots of glass and wide open spaces. Cruise staff was excellent !! and the overall experience was outstanding. The only down side was the lack of production show style entertainment because of Covid-19 restrictions.

The ship overall is gorgeous the embarkation and disembarkation were very well organized, the bars were very nice and the shows were OK, it could use a bit more dancing a bit earlier it seems the dance music usually starts at 11:00 some days that's too late if you have excursions planned early n the am

Had a great time with the family, the ship is beautiful, big but not too overwhelming, the food at the buffet was very good, at the restaurant it was good too but preferred the buffet. I would have preferred to have 3 ports of call for future cruises I will look for that.

It was a nice ship. We were not happy with the food quality. The service was good and the entertainment was decent. The spa was very nice with the different saunas , try the thermal lounge

This was a family holiday trip. We had 3 cabins and were very excited to be on the new ship. The ship was beautiful and the service was good. However, the embarkation process was terrible, they charged extra for everything, the food was mediocre and there were very few free food options.

Mostly great. WiFi was terrible, I feel I should’ve been refunded. I couldn’t even send my work emails. Buffet, staff, and drinks were great.

Excellent, safe, clean well staffed friendly, the shows were entertaining and varied. The food excellent, the crew fantastic. embarkation was a little slow otherwise a most enjoyable cruise.

the beach at yacht club was horrible because of the rocks on the shoreline!!! The food was terrible in the fish house at yacht club on Ocean Cay! The overall experience was so so mostly because of the covid proticals

Beautiful ship, food is OK entertainment is lagging getting on the ship is a nightmare and getting off the ship is just as bad.They need to make improvements in all these areas.

When I originally booked this cruise I was so excited and looked forward to the great ports on the itinerary to include Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, & the Bahamas. This was down graded to 3 ports which i was disappointed but still excited. But after waiting over 3 hours to get on the ship, then the multiple issues with registering my credit card to my ship card, only being able to visit 2 ports on a 7 night cruise then have to change my flight and spend an extra night in Florida I'm truly disappointed. I've cruised over 12 times and this was the only time I've come away disappointed. I feel the cruise line had poor customer service and had no regard to how the passengers on this cruise were treated. they gave us a $100 credit and refunded our port charges for Nassau. That is not a fair compensation. I would expect something more like an apology and a 50% discount on a future cruise. after this experience I will not cruise with MSC Again.
