MSC is definitely a cruise line that everyone must try at least once. I love their ships, itineraries, & prices. They have the best loyalty program. I believe they have the best pizza, pasta, chocolate, & desserts at sea. I don't drink alcohol, but I do enjoy mocktails & they are great at making them.

It would be 5 stars if the main dining meals were better. I've been on a few MSC ships & it appears that the main dining meals declined in quality, while the buffet improved in quality. I had no problems with the specialty restaurants. The Butcher's Cut & the Teppanyaki were amazing. However, I shouldn't have to purchase specialty dining or eat at a port to get a good meal on vacation.
Onboard Activities

The pools were great. The fitness center was the smallest I have seen on a ship & it was in the middle of the ship, so there was no view of the ocean. The Thermal Spa is always amazing, even though the Thermal Spa on the MSC Meraviglia was much better (bigger, better saunas, & more hot tubs).
Entertainment

The live music & variety was great. I loved the theater shows & the magic shows. Amazing entertainment!
Children's Programs

My nephew was with me on this cruise. He loved the water park onboard, the slides, the kids' club, & we both enjoyed the arcade. This was the best arcade I played in while on a cruise.

I believe MSC has the cleanest ships & best designed in the industry. However, I personally did not like the layout of the MSC Seashore. The outside was amazing, but the inside was quite confusing. The maps were not even helpful. This is the first cruise I literally had to ask for directions. :-p
Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the location, layout, design, & size of my stateroom. I booked another cruise getting the same room. :-)
Ship tip
If you can bid for an upgrade to Yacht Club, then do it! If not, then I highly recommend the specialty dining package for their restaurants. You won't regret it.
I enjoyed reading your review especially about the your feedback on the specialty dining, buffet etc. I’m cruising first time with MSC, not sure what to expect but a cruise is much better with quality food. Hoping for the best
