Can't wait for the next one! by Kat65

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape / Destination: Caribbean

Very relaxing cruise. Dining staff in Yacht club did get better as the week progressed. I would say there were inconsistencies, lacking attention to details. The little stuff. We would routinely wait up to 20 minutes after being seated to get a waiter. This did get better later in the week.

Great crossing by bonfamily

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape / Destination: Transatlantic

We have never enjoyed the very large ships, but the MSC Seascape has changed our minds about very large ships. Making reservations for the shows was very easy with the Seascape app, and we were able to communicate with each other with it too. The entertainment was excellent in all venues. Had a fabulous 10 days.

Wonderful by Superneon

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seascape / Destination: Transatlantic

Although we were firs time on the serious high quality cruise, i can say this experience was wonderful, fairly priced and we will do it once again. I was impressed of everything beggining with quality food, where you had access to quality items and great dishes - steak almost everyday, shripms, lobsters, oysters, salmon, asparagus, quality cheeses once we were served even surf and turf! Entertainment were once better once worse, but it is probably comparable to others - on this matter it is difficult to satisfy everyone everytime. Activities we did enjoyed but i think quality of this is similar everywhere. The Bermuda Port is not so interesting - i gave them 5 star (should be 3 at most) but you add it up to ultimate grade (why?) - this is small island so once few thousand ppl disembark there is not enough option for travel so you have to either wait in long queues or give up.

Beautiful New Ship In Need of Service and Dining Improvements by jerrytrain

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape / Destination: Transatlantic

Ship's crew is still on a "learning curve". If cruising with MSC, be prepared to be "nickled-and-dimed" for various on-board services.

Not my best cruise by alfreed

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape / Destination: Caribbean

The ship is beautiful, but there are a number of problems that need to be addressed. i am a gold status voyager member and have been on a few MSC ships. I have also tried almost all of the other cruise lines that sail out of south Florida. We ate in the Green restaurant and the food was not good. One night I ordered a steak to be cooked medium. It came very well done and was very hard and tasteless. when i pointed it out to the waiter he just took my plate away and said nothing. He did not say I am sorry can i get you something else. That was the next to last night of the cruise. The last night we ate at the buffet and the food was not great< but it was better than the restaurant. The elevator system is awful. When you select your floor it assigns an elevator to you and announces which elevator to take. People arriving after you at the elevators select their floor and the elevator assigns an elevator and announces which one. So if 3 groups of people arrive at different times each one has to go and select their floor. In the old days you went to an elevator and you pushed the up or down button and it lit up. Anyone coming to the elevators could see that the up or down button had been pushed and then they wait for the elevator going in the direction that they want. Sometimes the new way is not the best way. This elevator system really does not work. The buffet in the morning was a zoo. The food selection for lunch was the same every day. The best thing about the cruise were the theater shows. Overall I was disappointed with this cruise experience and will not be running to go on an MSC cruise in the near future.

Shiny and new by jcruisingm

Amazing, modern, brand new ship! We were on the inaugural from the US, which on any other ship includes gifts and all the bells and whistles brought out. This was not the case on this inaugural and made it feel not as special.

Brand new ship with stunning decor and lots of technology. Great bar staff and housekeeping. I just wish they would pay more attention to allergy requests.

Disappointing Caribbean Cruise! by rosaslape1994

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape

This cruise was very disappointing. We were unable to get to a beach on our first 3 stops. We were never told you would need to pay for taxis to get in the ocean. We were woken up every morning at 7:30a by banging and a grinding noise. After I complained we were told it was maintenance! I had to go to guest services 3 times because we were being over charged and some of the passengers were very rude. They would bump into you and not say a word and cut in front of you in line like you weren’t even there. Worst cruise we have ever taken.

Overall good. by Singlefll

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Seascape

The spa area was nice.Got crowded at times.Gym was big. They have many things you can and will pay extra for. After all ,it is a Megaship.Main reason is MSC has very low single supplements to outweigh the negatives.
