Review summary

None of this would have been possible without Lana Robinson who did an excellent job of setting this cruise up. Stayed in touch every step of the way and sent nice wishes and reminders to us right up til the day we left. Also did not forget to wish me a happy birthday. The dining room staff made me feel very special on my birthday by surprising me at dinner with a beautiful cake and just making a big deal of my BD. I will never forget it.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We had My Choice dining in the Aegean restaurant. Food was good with plenty of vegetable choices and good cuts of meat and fish. Food in the buffet was Outstanding with many good breads, rolls and fresh vegetables. Scarves meat at every meal, plenty of good pasta. Deserts are “right sized” reflecting the European/Mediterranean heritage of the ship. The wings at the Sports Bar are the BEST EVER….. Lines for food on the Private Island are toooo long. Need to have several smaller satellite areas to grab a bite on the private.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Fitness Center is nice but it needs more equipment. Need to have 2 of each machine for the 5000 quests. Too much waiting for equipment.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
DJs were good but a wider variety of music at the main club (Moulon Rouge) is needed. The band was OK (Star Band). The singing duo and steel drum guy were good. The. Theater shows were just OK.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff were extremely professional, cordial and prompt. Our waiter and bar attendance at dinner in the Aegean restaurant were very, very good. The BEST we have had on a cruise. Their names are John and John and they’re from the Philippians…. They are Both outstanding.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Easily the most Beautiful ship we have ever been on. Luxurious and stunningly attractive.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin steward, Romeo was OUTSTANDING. Extremely attentive. The cabin was very spacious but not as luxurious as the other areas of the ship. Romeo did a great job of keeping our cabin neat and attending to any and everything we needed. Extremely pleasant and polished.

Ship tip

The sports bar is by far the BEST on any ship we have ever been on. The parties in the Atrium are outstanding.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Easy luggage drop off and handling. We stayed near the airport which is only a 12 minute ride to the ship terminal.

Nassau, Bahamas

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Went on shore and had drinks. Need better tours for on shore. They used to have a bicycle tour which we Loved. Should try and get the bike tour back.

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

We did the Damagajua waterfall tour. OUTSTANDING. The tour guide Andy IS THE BEST… This tour is not for the light of heart, the hiking up the mountain and 20+ foot jumps into the water were very challenging but tons of fun. Andy was the BEST……

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

Beautiful Island. Beautiful day. Glad it was not the last full day of the cruise. Was a great way to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches. The light house show is unbelievable.
