MSC Cruise ship Poesia, do not bother with this line. They have no entertainment worth speaking of on the ship. No in room movies unless you pay and they are all old and have been on tv. Few English channels and they are CNN or ESPN and one TNT channel. No port talks and tour personnel were lacking information on the ports, just what was written. Cancelled tour excursions consistently. Food from dinner was served as leftovers for lunch the next day. The main dining room had the same menu for lunch everyday, no changes. The ship staff was unwilling to assist and would just say sorry, madam. Compared with all the main cruiseship lines, this one is very far behind. The tour excursions were all interesting but mostly on buses. The tour guides on the buses were very good, they were through Atlantic Tour Co. Stick to NCL or RCCL or Celebrity, etc.

The ship was exceptional. Our suite was very nice and well located on the 15th floor. The only feature that I missed was a "crow's nest". The fitness center was where this has been on other ships.

This is my 12 cruise but the first on MSC. The entertainment was poor and unless you liked lots of pasta the food was only average. The staff was rude and very inexperience. The communication to the passenger was very poor and not at all at times. I will more than likely not take another MSC cruise again. All the passengers I talked to had the same problems.

Very enjoyable cruise. Everything was great for relaxing and rejeuvenating. No complaints at all.

This was my 19th cruise and if I compare it with others, this was not the cruise that I like. Service in public areas was poor. Food selection was poor. Thanks to our head waiter in the dining room, he was excelent.

Before we left, I read lots of reviews about MSC, so we didn’t expect a typical cruise experience. The price was right, the ports were great and the food was fine. The most enjoyable part of being on the ship was the opportunity to practice my French chatting with Europeans on holiday. Adjust your expectations for MSC and you’ll have a good time.

Cute and quaint ship. Most of the staff were friendly. Clean ship for its age. Very easy to navigate. The spa was not as aggressive as my previous MSC experience. Even when walking into the spa area, I was never asked for a service. This shocked me. A few staff members had no idea about the voyagers club status levels. I was told the only difference is the color of your hard. I tried to keep a straight face, hope I succeeded. It was obvious they were new to the cruise industry as every line has differences in status levels.

The cruise was great with great ports, enjoyed them all. I thought MSC was good, not great. Average food in dining room with ok service. Dinner seemed to take 2 hours.

Average food, undrinkable wine (unless you paid up-charge). Did not have 1 good meal in the dining room at night. Super disappointed about that. Hot tubs cold. But the boat was clean and out balcony cabin was great. Had a nice massage.

Lovely ship and well equipped/but slightly dated cabin. Service, sometimes excellent, sometimes you feel like your being a burden asking for a drink. Some crew lovely and some never smile. But overall experience was good, will continue to use MSC

On board staff were excellent and overall experience very good . We loved having a balcony and will have one in the future! Loved visiting new places every day !

Everything was amazing and wonderful, feel like only draw back would be the pool and jacuzzi, nice pool for kids 5 and under, but nothing really for kids 6-10....pools really too deep so most kids spent their time in the jacuzzi

We have enjoyed the pleasure of visiting many enchanting places accompanied by a beautiful and comfortable ship, with professional and attentive staff, good food and entertainment of all kinds and for all ages. A bit of overcrowding in the pool but little exploited. It was our first cruise and we will certainly repeat the experience.

Lots of people, but it didn’t seem like it unless you were embarking/disembarking, this could be smartened up by giving groups different times rather than all on/off. The ship and staff are great, prices standard cruise prices. No need to dress for the themed nights, certainly not fancy dress (we took 60/70’s fancy dress, alone!) I would go again knowing we had to manage luggage and prob book our own flights to enable us to make the most of the starting venues.
