Review summary

A never-to-be-forgotten experience. Will do it again when we've saved up enough money. A great ship. Great staff. Visited great places with a nice mixture of history and relaxation. We were a family made up of three generations from 14 to 71. Everyone had a tremendous time.

Went a couple of nights to the theatre. Very enjoyable. Preferred to relax in our cabin at night on the other nights.

Service and Staff

5 stars must go to Zdravko Todorovic, our waiter at table 701 in Il Palladio restaurant. A very friendly, efficient and fun-loving guy. We looked forward to meeting him each evening. Wellington from Brazil was also a joy to meet. Our room steward was also very friendly. He was always smiling. Nothing was a trouble to him.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
As it was our first cruise, we thought on the first night that we would never find our way around. But everything was well signed and floors, lifts etc easy to negotiate. All was spotlessly clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Spacious cabin. Again always spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and neat little bathroom. Easy to work shower.

Ship tip

Book a Balcony cabin like we did. It's well worth the extra money. Take advantage of all the facilities on board and if you're fit, explore each port. There is such variety.

We had time to walk right through the town and visit all the major attractions. Our son had done his homework before the cruise started, so he made a wonderful tour leader! We then enjoyed a leisurely ride back by boat the length of the Grand Canal. Loved Venice - every bit of it!

Bari, Italy

We took a taxi ride to Alberobello. Amazing little place. We loved it. Well worth a visit.

Katakolon (Olympia), Greece

Another highlight of our cruise. We had pre booked booked a minibus to take us there, and it was very worthwhile. We also went to visit a small honey farm nearby. A pleasant experience run by a delightful family.

Mykonos, Greece

What a pretty place with lots to see and do. We crossed on the boat from beside the cruise ship and made our own way. Lovely coffee shops and unique little shopping streets. Took lots of photos.

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

This was the highlight of the tour for me because of a log awaited visit to the Acropolis and Mars Hill for my husband. We evn had a mars bar each on Mars Hill

Sarande, Albania

A leisurely day in the port, swimming in the sea and sunbathing. Did a little shopping too. Pretty little port.

Went like clockwork. How did they get so many people of the ship in such a short time?
