Review summary

We had chosen this cruise because we do enjoy MSC and the price for the cruise was very good. We had wanted a cruise to just relax and this we are able to do.

They have cut back on the number of items on the menus but the food is still very good. Hope that they are sailing at full strength the menu will be back to normal. They serve you in the buffet and while the number of items also is decreased the food is again very good.

Marketplace Buffet

They serve you everything and you can get as much as you want. They have every other table empty and in some cases where they can't do that the will have one or two seats set as do not sit.

L'Olive Doree & L'Olivo D'Oro

These are identical and side by side. Everyone was very good and they have a large number of tables that they are keeping empty.

Layout and design was very nice. All areas were very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

With the newer builds MSC has cut back on the cabin sin including storage and the bathroom. Being a larger person the bathroom is the biggest problem.

Ship tip

Make sure you watch the nightly shows on the ceiling over deck 6 and 7. They have a new show every evening at 5:30 and 6:30. Very nice

Very nice island with a lot of places to swim. But there is only one beach that has free umbrellas.

We have been to Cozumel many times and so we go to the MEGA Store. And buy liquor as the price is great.

We did not get off the ship as we have been before and do not care for either the port area of the nearest town.

Very quick and easy. Right now US Customs only does a face recognition so that was very quick.

One thing I forgot. You better not mind wearing a mask as you have to wear one unless you are outside or eating or drinking. And they enforce the masks. The dining room and buffet have seats that have signs of no sitting to keep people away from others yet close enough to talk.
