Good cruise and somethings were different because of covid. Ship and crew were excellent. MSC as a cruise line would not use again because the negative experiences our group had signing up and trying to get what we wanted. Itenarary changed numerous times and even changed once on board.

Was well staffed and clearly defined on where to go. Only issue was MSC computer issues during check in. Had pre checked in but still had to retake pictures and information.

Shows were good but none of the ones that where advertised. All shows performed by crew members which did an excellent job. One item we did not like was repeat of same shows during the 7 day cruise. Band which was also did a great job repeated theme nights and played exact same songs. Would of been nice to have the theme nights repeated but play different songs. Was a fantastic lounge for music.

Very good and kept clean every day. Only problem was size of shower (small) which is typical of cruises.
Ship tip
The ship was excellent but the process and procedures that are in place by the corporation is very annoying and made our trip frustrating at times.
The island was beautiful but it is still in the infant stage. Only 2 areas were open. The beaches are excellent for swimming but for snorkeling there are no reefs or fish, in areas that were open. Was not even worth renting mask and fins
Smallest port and very friendly people. Not a big city but it is stayed true to how people live in that remote area. Their main resources is the fishing, diving and snorkeling. We took glass bottom bottom snorkeling and went to barrier. Some of best snorkeling I experienced. Tour guy Fransico (Paco) was very informative and was passionate about Costa Maya and ensuring we were all satisfied with the experience.
