Had never sailed with MSC, but booked this cruise solely due to the itinerary. Would not book with MSC again. There are much better cruise lines out there.

It was definitely a process. Not very efficient. Had to wait in multiple lines to board. A somewhat lengthy and convoluted process. Should have been much easier!

Just okay. Small portions and okay food. Wine list would have been good if they had actually had the wines on it. They did not have 3 of the bottles of wine we ordered during the first five days of the cruise.

Stage shows were pretty good. Shadow puppet show was boring and lame.

Both stateroom and balcony were much smaller than experienced on other cruise lines. No place to sit in the stateroom. Shower missing gasket on bottom of door. Leaked water all over the floor every time we used the shower.
Truthfully, this port was the entire reason we signed up for this itinerary. Seeing the pyramids of Giza was awesome! It was a very long day, and felt very rushed, but was still fantastic. Our guide was very good.
It was quick and painless. Appreciated that MSC offered porterage services to our Venice hotel. It was easy and luggage arrived timely. Bus transfer to Tronchetto was also easy and efficient.
I sailed on the Seashore out of Port Canaveral and embarkation was great. 15 minutes from the time the shuttle let us off till we were on the ship. Disembarkation was a totally different story.
To me MSC was a fantastic cruise and will use them again. The food- MDR, buffet, and specialty restaurants had great taste and portions were sufficient. The crew were all very nice and accommodating. Can't wait to go on our next MSC cruise.
