Were just home in Australia from a wonderful month in Europe. A week of which was a Mediterranean cruise from Rome on the beautiful MSc Fantasia. There is very little that we can fault with her and we loved every minute of our cruise. Staff were amazing and very helpful and friendly. Food was divine and there was no meal we could complain about. Even the buffet food in Zanzibar was unbelievable best ship buffet we’ve ever had. The shows were first class and always enjoyable. Our balcony room upgrade by MSc was much appreciated and it was great to be able to chill on the balcony (and dry a few clothes!) embarkation and disembarkation was sooooo quick and smooth even with over 4000 passengers on board. Ports every day were amazing. Only issue maybe was in a few ports where we needed a shuttle to get into town we were made to pay for that and I do believe it should be complimentary. Many of our friends ordered a drink package and we (stupidly) chose not to. We should have as its amazing value for money. And ordering drinks singularly incurs a 15% Service charged on all drinks!!! Apart from those few issues our cruise was just the most amazing experience. Thankyou MSc xxx

Not much was wrong. Could have used more directional signs to the yacht club.

Nave Bella e pulita anche se si sente che è un po' vecchia e mancano tante cose. Riguardo proprio la nave è sempre pulita e sistemata. Riguardo il cibo e gli intrattenimenti purtroppo delude. Cibo da mensa, sia al buffet che al ristorante. Spettacoli al teatro praticamente inesistenti...ballano solo!... servizio al ristorante è ok. Per i bimbi meglio lasciar perdere. Cabina bella, nello stile msc. Comunque se continua così, anche se fanno navi meravigliose ma poi il resto è deludente, la gente si stuferà e proverà altre compagnie. Forse è quello che farò io. Starò a vedere il prossimo anno, dato che andrò ancora con msc con la nuova ammiraglia, la "bellissima".... e vediamo se ci sarà qualche miglioramento...

I've read some poor reviews about MSC but I have to disagree...this ship and crew thus far 2 days in is stellar. If your used to american lines of course they differ from European but not in a bad way just different. Our first night in the dining room was amazing 9 of us and not one complaint on anyones food or service. The rooms are clean and the stewards are friendly and helpful in whatever you ask of them. Do not hesitate to try MSC when they are in the Carribean...just expect a different experience...a taste of Europe!

My first MSC cruise so to compare it to the others: Embarkation was a nightmare. This is the first time I've cruised where people embark and disembark at all ports. That being said, this process is painful. When you need to leave for a tour, the lines to leave are very long because the other stations are waiting for people to embark. That was the worst part of the cruise. We booked the Yacht Club and it really was a top experience. We met other passengers on the ship who were not part of the YC and they had many complaints. Our YC experience included everything (alcohol, 24 hour butler & concierge) minibar, robes, spa sauna) and prime seating on tours and in the shows. The only extras were WiFi, massages and a specialty restaurant. Others on the ship has to pay for water! The suite was small; equal to a RCCL balcony room, but as previously stated, the amenities were bountiful. We had our own restaurant, pool, bar and elevator. I am looking to book another YC cruise with MSC. RCCL has competition in my book.

Overall experience was okay. It left a lot to be desired for me. Not sure if I would cruise again based off this cruise alone.

Very nice ship, people and ports. Hopefully they can improve food quality.

Servizio al di sotto delle aspettative! Personale che non parla italiano! Animazione nella media ma nulla di eccezionale! Cibo di scarsa qualità e ripetitivo pulizia cabina sotto la media e servizi inesistenti

MSC does a great job of taking care of their guests. They get a bad rap in the US because of the cultural differences between European and US ways of doing things. They treat guests with sincerity and respect.

A week of cruising had passed. I really enjoyed the ship. Food was excellent. Ship was clean and fresh. We took a lot of pictures. My daughter was a fan of Photoshop employees, done 9-10 photo sessions. All pics were beautiful and was difficult to choose only few of them.

This was our second cruise with MSC, and our second re positioning. Overall, was a good balance of relaxing sea days and great Mediterranean ports. Fantasia was a great ship and I would sail on her again in a heartbeat.

Overall an average cruise. Catering mostly for weekly customers, so lots of repeats of shows, meals, etc. Would rate cruise at the lower end. If compared to others value for money is ok.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone ever took kids on the msc cruise line? If so how did they like it? We have only ever taken ours on carnival and they loved the camp programs there

Overall the cruise was a lovely experience and exactly what we wanted and expected. We met lovely people on our dinner table and that made it fun. We would cruise with MSC again but would prefer to arrange our own flights.......we were not impressed at all how this was handled by BA. We have been on other cruiselines and this one compared well with the others we have done. Take the drinks package its certainly worth it. The photographers are a bit of a pain at times, especially at dinner time. MSC needs also to think about how it does the 'lifeboat drill' for joining passengers as we were held up for dinner till 10pm on two nights and were not warned about this until it was too late.

We had a nice cruise with MSC Fantasia but there are some negative things. If you like such a huge ship, you will be right onboard this vessel. All in all we had a nice cruise.

Everything was very good! We had a exquisite cruise. MSC Fantasia is a beautiful ship, with a lot of activities and stuff to do onboard. The cabin was perfect, the staff was so kind and always very helpful. A special thank goes out to our waiters in the Red Velvet restauran for making our dinners onboard extra great and a lot of fun. Also the waiters in IL Transatlantico. They made the evening so funny. But generally all the staff were great. The food were good, the drinks and the wine also. The activities, the music and the theatre shows were also good and various.

A pleasant and smooth cruise onboard MSC fantasia. Great food, great services, I am not keen on the kind of entertainment activities aboard cruise ships, but the group I was travelling with enjoyed it very much. Well thought out and organized in every sense. I'd suggest having more staff at the reception during rush hours and the night before disembarkation. Overall very satisfied, will recommend.

I am sorry that they have to learn to make guest's hapy. I paid the drinks package (all included, 400 euro, and i have to say please for drink. Its not correct. At dinner, Most of the time, for example, when i order white wine, they bring me red... in 7 days, 5 times this happens... not good. The buffet rest, in a sea day, it ok, in a stop day, at 8.30 most things not available... only pizza, burgers and similar...

Most likely will not cruise with MSC again!

Shows had no theme.  Need more variety & creativity.  Was not Wow'd!

Food was regular.  Staff went around up selling for better food choices.

Bottled water on table during dinner took out the formality of the dinner.

Dining room staff needs more training on dining etiquette.
