Review summary

Most likely will not cruise with MSC again!

Shows had no theme. Need more variety & creativity. Was not Wow'd!

Food was regular. Staff went around up selling for better food choices.

Bottled water on table during dinner took out the formality of the dinner.

Dining room staff needs more training on dining etiquette.

Dining room waiter Siska was very nice. She tried her best considering its her first week on MSC Fantasia. However, she need to know more information on the menu. A lot of times, her response was "I'm not sure". Tobroni, her assistant needs more training with dining room etiquette. He passes bread with his arm crossing another person instead of getting closer to the guest who needs bread. Options on olive oil with bread was not offered unless requested for. Cafeteria staff, Jayson was very pleasant & accommodating. Margaret, bar staff very pleasant as well.

Every night was a variety show. No theme. Needs more creativity. Needs the Wow factor. However, amused by Jimmy, Cruise Director with his level of enthusiasm being multilingual.

Felix was very nice & pleasant.

Ship tip

Be cautious with purchasing items on the ship. They were selling Valentino handbags, claiming they are authentic but workmanship is poor & products are made in China not Italy. After speaking with Store Assistant Manager, he said they are Class B, Mario Valentino products. Returned the products!
