Review summary

We were very disappointed. Especially when it comes to a variety of food which was none compared to other ships, This was our first European cruise and most likely the last. The stores on the ship also have nothing interested to sell. Just a regular priced stuff you can buy on land.

Embarkation

Too long waiting after you get in. We did not like to wait for so long for our numbers to be called and to do connecting credit cards on our own. It should be done like on any other cruises. By the staff.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
As much as drinks were fine, food was terrible No variety or choices at all. For 11 days same food was served and if you did not lake it. We were eating sandwiches for dinner and supper. That is not acceptable. There are no mustard for breakfast. I was told to eat ketchup (I hate ketchup). No lemon. No choices, No omelets or eggs benedicts. The meat... no choices and what was served was hard to bite. We absolutely did not like food. No variety whatsoever. Comparing to Princess and/or Royal Carribean, MSC score for food is 1 out of 10. Pastry was good.

Onboard Activities

Music on the pool area was almost non-stop, which was good. But less Rap... please. Not everyone likes Rap.

Entertainment

It was just OK comparing to other cruises.

Service and Staff

Bartenders were good. Unfortunately our room steward.... visibly did not like his job. He did not bring us back 2 times pool towels. We had to call for it. Just to remind you, If you did not return you would be charged 30$ per towel. He did not bring us back 2 times four towels. He did call for service as our room had lots of problems.

Ship Quality

Bathrooms need to be clean more often and have a toilet paper.

Cabin / Stateroom

Size of the room was fine. The balcony so small, we did not even know that the balcony can be so small. Nothing was provided in the bathroom. This is a first ship ever when we were not given small conditioners, soaps etc. There were many problems in our room. They did get fixed, but because of this, we had workers in our room or on the balcony often. Steward kept room pretty clean but we had to ask for toilet paper like he did not see that there is not enough.

Ship tip

I am not sure I would recommend

We were never informed, till the night before, that we can do express leave. It took forever, We were supposed to leave at 9:30AM we left around 11. We were told if we leave earlier our suitcases will not be there. It was a lie. The area where custom was, SUPER TERRIBLE. One bathroom for hundreds of people, Dirty and without lock and the lines.... no comment. We left port after 1PM. Not acceptable
