Review summary

We enjoyed our cruise it was a B2B 17 days. The private island is beautiful and we were there twice.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Terminal was very busy…but very well organized. Boarding took around 1-1.5 hours.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room food was good…some better than others. Loved the French onion soup and pasta dishes. Buffett-pizza was excellent. Other food was good most days. The same menu each day for 75% of the food.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lots of trivia and make that tune. Some repeated during the cruise.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows in the main theater we’re good. Singers on board were some of the best I have seen at sea. Entertainment in venues was good as well.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff work very hard. They do everything they can to make your trip. Main dining room staff that went above and beyond. Hector Sabillo Ricky Lewis Philippa Butler Doorhag

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship is beautiful, however she is starting to show her age in some of the furnishings and rugs. Staff is always cleaning and polishing!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved the Aft cabin. Had a lounger on the balcony and spent time there each day.

Ship tip

See the shows, visit the various venues and get your pool chairs early as prime ones were taken by 7 am.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
This was long and tedious. There was a delay with US immigrations which held things up. But when they restarted the cruise line called 50% of the passengers to start to disembark again vs. a smaller group at a time. Getting luggage was a mess…#’s we’re not in any order and some cases were in the wrong area. Plus the entire belt running through the area was full of cases. You had to hunt for luggage.
