Review summary

Excellent value, great ports and hard working staff ! More organized leadership approaches would help the staff with their efforts!

Embarkation

1 out of 5
We were told to arrive at the terminal for embarking from 10:30 -11:30 AM only to get on the ship at 1:10OPM. Staff seemed unaware of what the problem was and why there was no announcements as the crowds of arriving passengers grew. The lack of communication, organization and leader was evident and provided for a poor passenger embarking experience.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was plentiful, with a range of options in the dining room and buffet. I found the juices to be made from packaging rather then fresh so I tended to have fresh fruit.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the variety of activities that the cruise staff had organized on a daily basis . The cruise staff were an amazing team with lots of energy and personality

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I enjoyed the main theatre shows but found that there were too many of the song and dance variety

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service was provided by our room steward, dining staff . We found that the morning breakfast staff in the dining room were somewhat slow with our orders and at times not understanding our requests from the menu

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
In spots on the ship the crew would be chipping at paint and upon completion leave the paint chips on the deck . This then would be tracked into the ship causing more issues for staff . At times food and plates on the deck remained waiting for pickups. I found the layout of the ship to be fine , issues were with the buffet layout causing passenger congestion in numerous areas . Also a speedy toaster would help eliviate lineups

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Excellent size , comfortable bed with plentiful space . TV placement should be better as is the actual operating system. We went 3Days with little in the way of tv options due to issues with the supply company

Ship tip

When at the buffet, go to the back of the restaurant for a less crowded experience

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Poor process , miss communication of deck for getting off the ship .We were going to have our luggage sent ashore and wait for our time to leave the ship . We were told that we had to be out of our room by 8:30AM and that our disembark time would be at approximately 12:15 . We then opted for the walk off option which was lengthy due to issues with the escolator , elevator and customs

Glad you enjoyed most of it. Debarkation for cruises that visit Colombia seem to always delayed 2 to 3 hours due to closer inspections by customs.
