Our first cruise for my 60th birthday would be in Carraibean with Christmas and New Year.
And yes there was a lot of people, fully booked and you felt it. But the expierence was great and we had tons of fun only the embarkment and disembarkation was terrible.
Expect to spend a lot of money on drinks and wifi we spended over 2000 $ with the 2 of us on top of the cruise/flight price.
Embarkation

Embarkation was terrible, I thought I was treated like animals. We arrived at 2:15 pm , we supposed to embarking at 2pm so we where early. It was hot that day. You supposed to line up in the sun , no shadow what so ever. First there was like 500 people in front of you. It took 2 hours before we where in front of the desks to get our key's (cards). It was a very bad expierence.

You will certainly be not hungry, plenty of food but mostly fast food, hot dogs, pizza etc . .
Breakfast, all you can eat of kind of eggs, beacon well done !
Coffee is not that great at the buffets but much better at the bar's !
Black Crab Restaurant

The Black Crab Restaurant is a nice Restaurant with a very good service. Be aware not all place have good seating, we where on a rond table with 4 people but the table was placed against a wall wher 2 of the 4 people had less seating place. The service was top and quick the food was a bit less but normal I think for such a big ship.

Onboard Activities

small pool but ok I only have been in the jacuzzi it is a simple one not like mine at home. But temp was ok.If you really like to be in the sun you better hurry because they look like all occupied sunchairs by 7 am in the morning.

Great design and pretty clean I would say. Rooms where made up several times in a day.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was clean, nice bed and good ocean view. Only closet has not much room if you have many clothes with you. You can put your luggage under the bed whe had 2 very big suitcases and they fitted well.
Best is to do it on your own we spended a lot of money for excursions but they where not worth while.
To much waiting before departure sometimes up to 2 hours.
We had to put our suitcases out of the room by 12pm on the last day.
We had to wake up by 6am to have our last breakfast then leave the room by 8 am and go to the theatre to be called for Disembarkation this was done by colour code. We have waited like 4 hours !
Then finally our call again in large waiting lines hunderds of people we made it outside in Miami after 6 hours of wasted time it was terrible long .
