Review summary
There were a few exceptional staff members, but otherwise the crew attitudes ranged from indifferent to downright surly. Everything was very disorganized- tours didn't start on time, daily programs had incorrect information several times, opening/closing times of shops were never accurate, the buffet was over-crowded and under-stocked, dining room service was slow at breakfast and lunch, and the hand sanitizer dispensers almost never worked. There were so many sick people onboard! I would only rate this cruise as a 2 star if we hadn't paid a lot of money to upgrade to the Aurea experience. The perks we received for that were nice, and again, there were a few exceptional crew members who made it a better experience. All in all, we'll stick with Norweigian from now on.

Ship tip
Don't plan to find a deck chair if you don't get to the pool before 10am. If you're going to go, it's worth the cost to upgrade to Aurea - especially if you plan to consume alcohol, or even water, soda, espresso, and ice cream, as they're all included (except premium spirits).
