Review summary
The most enjoyable part of the cruise for us was visiting the four different Caribbean ports to shop. There were some terrific buys.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated that the ship and our cabin was very clean.
We were disappointed in the fact that someone in the cabin room next to us was a very heavy smoker . We were NOT able to enjoy our balcony because of the person smoking in the cabin next to us. They seemed to often be on their balcony smoking or would come out when we went out on ours.
At times we could smell the smoke in our cabin as well. My husband and I are non smokers , and we believed that this ship was to be a smoke free cruise.
We paid for a balcony and an up grade for our balcony cabin. We feel that we should be compensated for the cost of the balcony room and the cost of the upgraded balcony room as we were not able to enjoy our balcony because of the heavy smoker next to us.
SUGGESTION:
It would be nice if a device could be put in cabins to alert the office staff of persons smoking in their rooms.
I would like to say that our BJ's agent has always been very helpful over the years as we have had several other cruise through BJ's travel that she has booked for us on other cruise lines, and we appreciate her .
