Review summary

I didn’t expect much from this cruise. The price was extremely low. If you are looking for a large slick ship, this is not for you. But if you were looking for a smaller ship with wonderful service try the MSC.That being said, this was an amazing and wonderful cruise. I would definitely travel with MSC in the future.

Disappointing! No real town. Just a bunch of overpriced stores for cruise passengers. We paid $48 for a taco and a beer. Mexico is so much better than this port

If you ever go to Costa Maya again, visit Maya Chan Beach - it is absolutely amazing, and when I get a chance I will go back on a cruise just to go there. It’s a pretty decent price, can’t remember exactly but I want to say $35 a person, which covers transportation to and from, all you can eat and drink, and your own place on the beach including a couple chairs; and beach bed/table/etc so no fighting for spots. They also have kayaks/etc. the waiters actually will come out into the water to bring you drinks.
