Review summary

Overall, I would rate sailing on the MSC Armonia 2 stars...More than likely I won't sail with MSC in the near future. I'll stick with the more updated cruise lines that I have sailed with in the past. I only selected MSC because it had the best itinerary (Havana Cuba). However, on June 5th that all changed and Havana Cuba was replaced with the Cayman Islands which was a big disappointment for me and family.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Excellent! Arrived at the port early and my family and I was actually number #1 to board the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food and beverage service was impactable! The waitstaff did an outstanding job ensuring your needs were met.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Not enough activities onboard and there was way too much lag time in between scheduled onboard activities.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Was expecting more Las Vegas style entertainment as on other cruise lines.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Excellent activities for children my grandson is six (6) and he truly had a goodtime.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The waitstaff as I mentioned was impactable!

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
The ship is old and antiquated. However, it was pretty clean. I did notice that there was not a lot of trash dispensers/places to leave discarded beverages - none by the elevators which I thought was odd. So, people would leave there empty drink containers on the floor.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
The cabin was way too small to accommodate four (4) people. The T.V. was too small and the satellite channels - Sucked! You couldn't even check your onboard account from your stateroom...

Ship tip

Diversity in it's finest, very multiculture.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
I love Miami had a chance to catch up with family. My family and I arrived two (2) days prior to sailing so we could spend time with family.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

3 out of 5
Wasn't there long enough very small Island

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
Probably the best port of call for the entire itinerary. My third (3rd) time visiting this port of call

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Should have been there longer...I've visited Cozumel on several occasions...The beer was probably the best deal of them all - $1.00...Yeah Man!
