Review summary

I love cruising but I will not go on this ship again, it was boring at times.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
I was confused my time to board was noon, but it was one big line. So, it didn't seem like picking your embarkation time was even relevant. It was extremely hot and the line was to long. Just one big lone line.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
My main dining room servers were great! Waiter-Omar and Assit-Mike at table 446. Omar was great how he new the best dishing to try and remember my name when he saw me at a different spot on the ship! I didn't do any specialty restaurants this go around. The buffet was great, I enjoyed the different options to eat from.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I enjoyed the pools, but the first couple of days the pools were closed due to the high winds, which is understandable. But, they didn't play very much music on the pool deck and one point, I went and asked could they play some music and turn it up. They had the entertainment band, which was very nice.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
This cruise was very much into Senior Citizens, I have nothing against Seniors, but they should say that, there shows were old and they musicans/DJ's played older music.

Children's Programs

I didn't bring any children with me, and I'm glad because they didn't have a children's area on the deck and no children's pool nothing! Sad for the kids on the cruise, they had nothing to do.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
My room steward Lala, was great, I loved the little towel animals and the turn down service each night. The head waiter Wajdi, sent me some chocolate covered strawberry's because one of my main dining room meals I didn't like. So unexpected.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Everything looked well taken care off.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The bed and the pillows were great, I slept very well every night! My room steward Lala, took very good care of my room for me.

Ship tip

This ship isn't for young people at all, it was geared toward Seniors, I would not recommend it for anyone under 55!

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

4 out of 5
The port was very nice, but I don't think we needed to be there for three days.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Loved this private island, all I can say go there!!

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Seem unorganized, my area was studio b at 8:30am, but no one was there, and no crew member seemed to know what was going on either.

Worth spending time researching cruise ships before booking. I prefer smaller, quieter, ships. However, there are many very large ships that have lots of noise and amenities.

The newer ships have way more to do. Like Harmony Class. Some times you get a great rate for older ships, but you have to be aware, that they usually have less to do and for RCCL, the newer ships tend to have better entertainment as well.
