Mariner of the Seas

8 Night Bermuda & Perfect Day (Port Canaveral Roundtrip)

Review summary

Nice ship, nice crew, nice room, nice amenities, nice service, not perfect but very good. They charge extra for room service, even just coffee and pastry, unlike other lines. It takes a while to get a drink or a snack. Bermuda is wonderful. Main dining room needs a new chef, but buffet is the best at sea.

Ship tip

Know that you boarding a clean, beautiful, newly renovated best in class cruise ship. It is very well run and everything will work. Leave your stress on the dock and relax. If you are good to the crew, they will be good to you. It is a huge ship and it is sometimes crowded. Expect full capacity and reasonable wait times.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Bermuda is 10 Times better than anything in the Caribbean. All of the natural beauty, but none of the sketchiness or crime or tourist-i-ness or commercialism or the depressing poverty.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
If you have a transportation plan, this is very efficient and well done. If you are hoping to catch a cab aka you have NO PLAN, any disruption here is on you. (ps There are PLANNER people and Non-Planner people)
